St Edward's is a Platinum School for Sport.
Sport and participation in sport is a key priority for our school. It is our aim that all children will leave our school having represented school at some level in a sport. Some of the sports that we have participated in this year include: football, netball, rugby, multi-skills, cross country, indoor athletics, basketball and hockey. Below is a picture showing all of the children that have represented our school in sport this year:
School Swimming
In 2022 - 2023:
80% of our Year 6 children could swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
83% of our Year 6 children could use a range of strokes effectively.
89% of our Year 6 children could perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situation.
